Just got back from an 8 night stay. Had a really great experience. we were in a triple room which was exceptionally spacious. the specific building we were in was very quiet and well maintained. The room was spotless and serviced daily. The beds comfy, sheets soft and shower hot. We checked in late with no troubles and the only snag we had throughout the stay was with needing a few electrical outlets to be switched on after accidently switched off. The office was always responsive and very friendly and helped out immediately. in my opinion this is a perfect option for travelers that plan to be out most of the day or those who have a connection or affinity to the lovely neighborhood or surrounding ones. and the accessibility to transportation is unrivaled... do not book if you need a lift (elevator). I will no doubt stay there again next time.
We stayed here just for 1 night as a stop over when attending a concert. The location is excellent - close enough to central london on the underground & surrounded by a huge selection of restaurants. The area is generally pleasant & feels safe. The room was beautifully decorated, modern & reasonably sized with lots of amenities including a smart tv (much appreciated!) coffee machine, fan etc. Very comfortable bed & quiet nights sleep. The hallway area (the rooms are basically a block of flats) really need work but that didnt affect us. Overall, I am impressed, especially for the price. A few things did let our rating down however, it would not put us off staying again. Cons: Receptionist who checked us in was not particularly welcoming (but I get we all have bad days!) I wouldnt usually point this out, however the interactions we had with the staff weren't positive. Check out was stated at 11am. At 10.40am as we were gathering our final things, a staff member unlocked the door (did not even knock?) & as I greeted them they replied "oh you haven't checked out yet?". I responded that check out was at 11am? They just exited and closed the door. Not only did this make us feel uncomfortable, it was very unprofessional. The air con did not work (however there was a fan so not a deal breaker) The milk had expired & some of the biscuit/teas were opened/had liquid spilled on them. These are clearly not being checked between guests which was a shame - these issues we only noticed late so reception was closed. Had we not had the above issues, this wouldve been a 5 star rating.
Really pleased with our experience. We had a double room at 198. Room was bright and clean. Check-in and -out easy peasy. Air conditioning a bonus. Handy little kitchenette. Easy walk to the tube station. Parking is available via JustPark almost dead opposite the Reception. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Great studio room a few stops from Wembley Park, perfect place to stay before/after an event without paying the extortionate rates of the hotels next to the stadium. Also just a short tube journey from Baker Street. Room was equipped with a stove top, microwave, sink, fridge freezer, ironing board, hairdryer, safe. Bathroom and shower is a good size and looks modern. My room looked out on to the main road, however, no issues getting a sound night's sleep. I would definitely stay here again, well equipped room at a great price.
Reception staff friendly and helpful, had an issue at check in and they immediately sorted out, very impressive. Good clean rooms.
Very good quality rooms. Reasonable prices and good location with free parking on the road in certain hours. Lots of shops nearby and awesome Mexican food few steps away. 5 stars!
Hotel well placed in the middle of West Hempstead with all public transport available easily. The hotel is a bit scary from the outside and in the common area but the room are nice, clean with a mini kitchen smartly hidden behind doors. The bad point is the mattress which is to hard and the pillow who are too thin.
Good price and good location. Nice room but some people in staff are not helpful at all... for exemple to call a black cab... you need to do it yourself even when you don't know the number.
